Rugby Ball Stars Fundraising Event
At the London Irish game on 21st January we held a fundraising event. The prize was a rugby ball signed by your favourite Scarlets player.
People could buy a star for a £1 which was placed on a board painted with a rugby ball. After the game Alix Popham kindly came to the red zone and picked a winner.
The winner was from Llanelli and chose to have the ball signed by Regan King.
Originally the event was meant to be a Christmas Tree Stars which was to be held at the Dragons game on the 22nd of December 2006.
But as you may remember that game was postponed due to a fog-filled ground. So we had to quickly re-think the idea.
