CRYS16 Board meeting with Scarlets Mangement about Season Ticket Launch 2011/12 - 1st June 2011
7 of the CRYS16 board met with the Scarlets Management tonight to discuss several issues raised over the last few days.
We were there for over 2 and a half hours hopefully covering everyones concerns.
From the Scarlets were Mark Davies (CEO) , Nigel Short (Chairman), Rupert Moon (Commercial Director) and Jo Polson (Systems Manager).
I wont go into all the details here tonight, but there will be a letter sent out to all those who recieved season ticket renewal letters by the end of the week from the Scarlets.
I believe (hope) that most people will be please with the outcome of the meeting.
A few things to note now is, The early bird offer is open to renewals and new season tickets which hasn't been the case in the past. Clwb Cochyn will still exist, a seperate mail shot will be sent out soon.
New sections being defined. This season blocks were changing in the middle of rows, now they will change at stairways. (new graphics being worked on to make this clear to everyone). So the guy sat next to you wont be paying a differerent price.
Theres was a lot more discussed and will become clear in the letter.
I cant give full details at present as the Scarlets have to look at the feasability of doing somethings we discussed together.
Here is list of topics we took with us tonight. hope we didnt miss anyones questions out....
Supporters Club - What is it - Is it instead of CRYS16.......
RFC ticket - Why has this been taken of normal season ticket holders, is there an option for buying both with loyalty bonus for purchase.
Different packages (names) available this year - confusion on where people sat this year and what package they are now in.
Launch took part on Bank holiday weekend and office / staff were on holiday on the monday and some all week. Not best time for launch and manpower cover.
Family season ticket - can we have a 2 adult and 2 children option.
Early bird period is too short - 3 weeeks. a lot of fans get paid monthly (end of) this offered started after last pay but ends before next pay.
Public opinion should be gauged before launching new improvement changes to avoid issues like this. |
